FAQ

Do the staff have working with children checks?
Yes, they do. As well as the equivalent police checks in all the states across Australia.

Does my child need to bring anything to the lessons?
Yes, just a folder to start a portfolio of all their drawings & paintings. We supply all the art materials, paper & reference books.

Can you do colour work?
We specialise in Colour from photos in the studio. At parties we do mainly black & white because it is quicker. If you prefer we can also do colour for smaller functions.

Do you work outside of Sydney?
Yes. We work all over Australia all the time. We often attend special events & functions interstate & overseas. It is cheaper to have us fly to Melbourne than to hire Cartoonists there.

Do you teach Cartooning?
We specialise in Cartooning classes. We work across NSW teaching in schools, centres, libraries & more. We run our own Cartooning Schools in Bondi Junction & regular classes at several schools throughout the term.

How good are you?
We have been in this business for more than 30 years. The proof is in the testimonials& our list of corporate blue chip clients. Our work appears in Newspapers, Magazines, on Television & we are everywhere. No job is too small or too hard. We ensure our prices are competitive, we know the needs of our clients & provide service with a smile on our faces & in our voices. We are innovative, fast and affordable.

Parties / functions

Do you do children's parties?
Yes. We draw Caricatures of them, teach Cartooning, Construction workshops, Water Colour workshops, Treasure Hunts, Games Parties, Face Painting & Temporary Tattoos. Please call the office for more details. Our most popular children's parties are Cartooning & Construction.

With the Cartooning Parties – what ages do you cater for?
We cater for children aged 4 to 13.

What entertainers do you have?
We have Cartoonists, Jugglers, Magicians, Temporary Tattooists, Clairvoyants, Face Painters, a Singer, Balloonists, Jugglers, a Photographer and a variety of facilitators for workshops. Look on the entertainers page for more information.

How long does it take to draw a Caricature at a function?
Approximately 2 - 3 minutes per person for black & white. Colour takes 4 - 5 minutes. For a party with 80-100 guests we suggest the 4 hour package with 2 Cartoonists and the option to stay longer if required. For more than 100 guests we suggest 4 - 5 hours with 4 Cartoonists working the room. We roll the drawings up & present them to the guests as a gift.

Do you do large functions?
Yes – we specialise in very large functions. For large weddings or corporate events we recommend you book 4 - 6 Cartoonists. For functions of 1000 people or more, it is not uncommon to have 10 of our Cartoonists drawing all the guests.

Do you do small functions?
Yes. The smaller the function (like an intimate boardroom meeting) the more detail & colour we can do. We can also do individual pictures & groups together, etc.

Do you dress up?
We wear our corporate uniform at all functions. We also have casual T-Shirts for children's parties. We can also dress in themed costumes if requested.
